This new contemporary project used an integrated design process to align with the owner's deep ecological and social values, while providing a playful environment for raising children. Features include a 4.75 kW solar array, metal roof and siding for low maintenance, a 12,000 gallon rainwater cistern, permaculture and site restoration. The home is designed as a net-zero energy and water house — all energy is generated and all water is collected on site.
