Comment on the HRCIP Discussion Draft!

The HRCIP Discussion Draft with detailed code amendments is now available. Staff developed the code amendments following conversations with residents and property owners inPortland’s Historic and Conservation Districts, as well as the Historic Landmarks Commission and the Planning and Sustainability Commission.

The discussion draft will inform a conversation with the Historic Landmarks Commission on December 10, 2012 at 1:30 pm in the 1900 SW 4th Avenue Building, on the 2nd floor. Your comments are appreciated and welcome! Join us at the public hearing or send your comments directly to Jay Sugnet at jay.sugnet@portlandoregon.gov.

Staff will revise the draft code amendments based on feedback from community members and the Commission, and present them to the Planning and Sustainability Commission (PSC) in early 2013. A PSC public hearing is tentatively scheduled for January 22, 2013 in the evening. City Council will consider the code amendments as early as February.
