  • January 30: 3:00 – 5:30 pm –-  Review of draft Plan Update document
  • Discussion of February PEG meeting, public workshops and the attendance of PEG members at these workshops.  The schedule for the workshops is:

    Policy questions to be addressed include:
    • What are the roles of transit, street cars and other transportation modes in accommodating future growth in the City?
    • How can the City and TriMet better coordinate growth management planning in the context of a frequent service network and transit oriented development?
    • What are the most important corridors for transit, streetcars, and other forms of frequent service?  Do the Plan’s growth scenarios match the best opportunities for frequent service?
    • How can equity considerations best be factored into transit and streetcar planning?
