Heading Out? Grab your reusable bag

Plastic bags are no longer available at the checkout in many grocery stores and large stores with pharmacies.

Start a new habit of bringing your reusable bag every time you shop.

You may already own reusable bags, but it can be a challenge to remember them when you head to the store or pharmacy. While it takes a little time to form a new habit, we offer these tips to help you to remember to bring your bags every time:

  • Store bags near your house keys or near the door.
  • Return bags to your car.
  • Write a reminder on your grocery list.
  • Keep a bag in your purse or coat pocket at all times. That way when you find yourself picking up a few items, you’ll be prepared with your own bag.
