BPS Director Susan Anderson made a special visit to PGE headquarters recently to present Sustainability at Work's Gold Certification. PGE has shown a strong commitment to sustainability practices; continually improving and taking on new initiatives, tracking sustainability related benchmarks and incorporating them into day-to-day and long-term decision making.
Sustainability at Work offers comprehensive, free assistance for any Portland organization looking to create a more sustainable workplace. Sustainability Advisors, backed by the resources of the City and its expert partners, help assess opportunities to conserve resources, improve efficiency, save money and provide a healthy and quality workspace for employees.

A serious security vulnerability known as "Heartbleed" was recently discovered in OpenSSL, a popular software library commonly used by many websites on the internet to encrypt communication between a user's computer and a web server.
PortlandOregon.gov is NOT affected by this vulnerability as it does not use the OpenSSL software library. Please rest assured we are dedicated to protecting your security on this website.
