Get Involved
Portlanders from all parts of the city who live in or near a mixed use area, or build and do business in mixed use and commercial zones, may have an interest in this project. A project advisory committee (PAG) will meet monthly, starting in February 2014, for approximately one year. Members will consider current development outcomes and areas for improvement, provide guidance and feedback on development and design approaches, and help guide changes to the zoning code. These meetings are open to the public and will have time allotted for public comments. There will also be other opportunities to get involved in the project through focus group discussions and open houses.

Anticipated Public Involvement Components

  • Project Advisory Committee – Meetings begin February 2014
  • Open Houses/Public Events – During each phase
  • Focus Groups, Community Walks, Roundtable Discussions
  • Neighborhood and Business Group Meetings
