Some institutional development occurs in neighborhoods that are currently, or historically have been, home to communities of color, immigrant and/ or low income populations. How can CIZUP avoid negatively impacting these communities and instead have a positive influence?
3. Existing Conditions Part II
The group will review the Current Institution Regulatory Matrix and the Existing Portland Zoning Code Options prepared by Staff (attached) If there are any “existing condition” items left unaddressed at the end of today’s discussion, let staff know and we will circle back and get you the information you request.
4. Alternative Approaches
In Task 2: Explore Zoning and Neighborhood Impact Mitigation Alternatives staff and the Advisory Group will develop alternative regulatory approaches to Campus Institutions and work with the PAG to develop a method of evaluating these alternatives.
