Q: What do I do if my roll carts weren’t picked up on my collection day?

A: Call your garbage and recycling company to alert them of the missed collection as soon as possible.

If there is something wrong with your account or material preparation, they will let you know. Otherwise as long as you call within two days of the missed collection, they will allow extra materials on your next collection day or arrange to send a truck back. If the roll cart was not at the curb by 6 a.m., was over the weight limit, or wasn’t properly prepared and you would like a return trip, charges will apply and you will be required to remedy any preparation problems. The charge is $7.95. Call your garbage hauler to arrange for this service.
