The Off-road Cycling Master Plan Project Team has appointed 16 members to the project Advisory Committee. The first meeting will be held January 28, 2016. The Advisory Committee will guide creation of a citywide vision and plan for a system of off-road cycling trails and facilities where children, adults, and families can ride for fun, exercise and to experience nature in the city.
Sixty community members who are passionate about access to outdoor recreation and treasure Portland’s parks, forests and natural areas applied to serve on the Advisory Committee. Members were selected based on their demonstrated abilities to think creatively about off-road cycling opportunities citywide while working effectively and constructively to balance a range of goals for public lands.
