The Citywide Technology Assessment is designed to review all the technologies that are used to enable the business at the City of Portland. We are looking at systems, architectures, hardware, software and our greatest assets people.
Citywide Technology Staff Skills Survey. Soon we will release the CitywideTechnology Staff Skills Survey and I encourage all technology staff both in the Bureau of Technology Services and throughout our 26 Bureaus to complete the survey. This is an anonymous survey because we are looking to analyze the data in aggregate. It is a self reporting survey because only you know your skills and levels.
Where there are gaps, we need to recognize that and invest in our people. The only way to know a gap is to measure it. We should never be afraid of the data, but we must invest and act so we meet customer expectations.
Ben Berry - Chief Technology Officer.

A serious security vulnerability known as "Heartbleed" was recently discovered in OpenSSL, a popular software library commonly used by many websites on the internet to encrypt communication between a user's computer and a web server.
PortlandOregon.gov is NOT affected by this vulnerability as it does not use the OpenSSL software library. Please rest assured we are dedicated to protecting your security on this website.
