Turkey Meat Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Pound(s) Ground Turkey 
  • 1/2 Pound(s) Ground Turkey Breast 
  • 1/3 Cup(s) Optional Ketchup Use As A Topping
  • 1 Cup(s) Unseasoned, Whole Wheat Breadcrumbs 
  • 3/4 Cup(s) Onion(s) Finely Chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon(s) Dried Basil 
  • 2 Teaspoon(s) Dried Oregano 
  • 2 Garlic Clove(s) Minced
  • 1 Large Egg(s) 
  • 1/2 Cup(s) Carrot(s) Shredded
  • 1/4 Cup(s) Fresh Parsley Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup(s) Green Or Red Bell Pepper(s) Minced
  • 1/4 Cup(s) Red Bell Pepper(s) Minced
  • 3 Tablespoon(s) Optional Ketchup Use As A Topping
  • Salt (to Taste)
  • Pepper Ground, (to Taste)

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine all ingredients except 3 tablespoons Ketchup in a large bowl.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a 9 x 5 inch non stick loaf pan.
  4. Bake 1 hour, uncovered.
  5. Remove from oven. Spread 3 tablespoons ketchup, if desired.
  6. Cover lightly with foil and let meatloaf rest 10 minutes.
  7. Cut into slices and serve.
