Throughout the year, fire agencies across Oregon host Child Passenger Safety Clinics at fire stations and other safety venues for the public. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians and trained volunteers from the Child Safety Seat Resource Center are available at the clinics to work one-on-one with parents and caregivers to correctly install and inspect child safety seats. Each seat takes about 40 minutes to install and check for damage, size, and age appropriateness. Click here to access the 2012 safety clinic schedule for Oregon.
Locally, Child Passenger Safety Clinics are being held each month in Portland, Beaverton, Gresham, Clackamas, and Hillsboro. The events listed below are held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
