Elders in Action focuses on empowering older adults in our community to solve problems, tackle important issues, and help businesses and communities better serve the older customer. Quality of life should never depend on age and welcome the talent and wisdom that older adults share to make communities in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties more livable for all.

Programs and Services

Age Friendly Portland is part of the World Health Organization's Global Age-Friendly Cities Project, which focuses on building communities accessible for people of all ages.

Portland Parks & Recreation and the Portland Housing Bureau offer a variety of programs and services specifically tailored to serve older adults.
