Planning Your Visit to the Gateway Center

About Your Visit

Appointments are not necessary for first time visitors. We encourage walk-in, drop-ins from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 4 pm. When you come, you will fill out a short intake form and then sit down one-on-one with an experienced advocate (“navigator”) who will help you develop your personal plan and connect you with other services you may need.

We want you to know that when you visit, you can expect a very warm and comfortable place. You will also see that your safety is our top priority. Our building was specifically designed to provide you (and your children) a secure environment, where you can feel safe. Additionally, we keep everything you tell us in the strictest confidence, and don't share your information without your permission.

We know that often times your children have already heard more than you would like. We want you to feel comfortable talking openly with us, so we have a fun child care with friendly professional staff to keep them entertained during your visit to the Gateway Center Center.

* Please note: Our building can be hard to find the first time. We are set back from 102nd in a building that looks like a yellow house. You may have to keep your eyes peeled to find us the first time!
