ADA Title II Transition Plan Project

The City of Portland funded a Citywide transition plan to determine what physical barriers exist for persons with disabilities to access facilities owned or operated by the City.  The transition plan is required by federal law to show what physical barriers limit the accessibility of its programs, activities, or services to individuals with disabilities.  This document is a compliance document that outlines a plan to achieve an accessible City Government.  The team of consultants include: surveyors, engineers, ADA regulatory specialists, and drafters. 

 

When the project is complete the city will have a comprehensive report on the City’s deficiencies and the steps necessary to achieve compliance with the Title II of the ADA.
