Daniel Eisenbeis manages state government relations for the City of Portland. Prior to working for the City, Dan represented the League of Oregon Cities on water, wastewater, energy, environment and building code issues. In 2007, he served as deputy manager and research director in the successful effort to pass Measure 49 to protect Oregon’s farm and forest lands. Dan was previously the legislative director for 1000 Friends of Oregon.
He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in geography from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he also worked as an analyst for the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Born in Portlandand raised in Salem, Dan currently lives in NE Portland, the third of five quadrants he has called home.
