Elizabeth Edwards joined the City of Portland’s Office of Government Relations in October of 2013. Elizabeth most recently served as the Committee Administrator for the House Veterans’ Services and Emergency Preparedness Committee in the Oregon State Legislature. She is a fourth-generation Portlander with a broad range of experience in local, state and federal government. She attended Portland Public Schools and volunteered on the Multnomah County Youth Advisory Board. Elizabeth earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her law degree from The George Washington University Law School. While in Washington D.C., she served as a policy advisor to U.S. Senator Gordon H. Smith. Elizabeth is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association and served on the Multnomah County Bar Association’s Service to the Public Committee.
