$76,000 AVAILABLE FOR NEIGHBORHOOD AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROJECTS IN 2015
The City of Portland Neighborhood Small Grants program has $76,000 available to give out in grants to neighborhood and community organizations for community engagement projects in 2015.
The City of Portland Office of Neighborhood Involvement is partnering with five of Portland’s seven neighborhood district coalitions to give out the funds. The five neighborhood coalitions and their grant funds available are:
(The neighborhood district coalitions in northwest and north Portland— Neighbors West/Northwest (NWNW) and North Portland Neighborhood Services (NPNS)—chose to defer their grant funding until next year to help ensure adequate funding for the other neighborhood coalitions in 2015.)
To be eligible for grant funding a project must benefit the community in one of these five neighborhood districts.
Each neighborhood coalition has its own application process.
To apply for a grant, identify the district in which the project would take place, and follow the application process for that district.
