Description

Incight and City of Portland conducting a Job Fair on October 29th

The City of Portland and Incight are conducting a job fair on October 29 from 9 am to 2 pm on the Portland Building’s second floor at 1120 SW Fifth Avenue.

Workshops on how to apply for a City of Portland job will be conducted every 45 minutes in Room B. The workshops will be facilitated by Outreach, Employment and Diversity Resources staff from the Bureau of Human Resources. The training will provide an overview of how to apply for city recruitments and how to create an account on NEOGOV to access for applying.

City bureaus will also be staffing information tables in Room C to address participant’s questions about their work and any job openings that may be available. The bureaus will also provide ten-minute presentations in the Auditorium until noon that provide an overview of their work and what types of jobs are being performed in their respective jurisdictions.
