Find out what is going on in your neighborhood and with the City of Portland's world renowned neighborhood system.  The Calendar of Events is where you will find information about upcoming neighborhood meetings, community events and volunteer opportunities.  Events are listed by district so you can look at all the events going on in the city or just for your part of town.

    News Release: Traffic enforcement and education action on SE Clinton Street to highlight safety on neighborhood greenways

    The Portland Bureau of Transportation and Portland Police Bureau advise the traveling public that a traffic education and enforcement action is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 10 on SE Clinton Street between SE 12th Avenue and SE 50th Avenue from 7 to 9:30 a.m. and from 3 to 6:30 p.m.

    SE Hawthorne-Salmon Area Green Street and Sewer Project Update: February 5, 2015

    Crews will begin upsizing and replacing public sewer pipe on SE Hawthorne Boulevard between SE 44th and 47th avenues Friday, February 12.

    Recognizing our business and community partners’ reliance on the services and resources we provide, the Bureau of Development Services (BDS) is providing advance notice of an upcoming Holiday closure.

    News Release: PBOT’s 2015 Traffic Safety Report reinforces need for to reduce serious and fatal crashes on Portland’s streets

    The newly improved crosswalk at SE 156th and Division Street was dedicated this morning in a short ceremony that also acknowledged the three fatalities that occurred at the location in recent years. The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT), along with Oregon & Southwest Washington Families for Safe Streets and Oregon Walks, met at the new Rapid Flashing Beacon to discuss why the safety improvements at the crossing and other Vision Zero actions are so important for the people of Portland.

    Traffic Alert: Portland Aerial Tram Out of Service

    (6:00 p.m., Monday, February 8th) The Portland Aerial Tram is out of service due to a gate circuit malfunction at the upper station. There is currently no ETA regarding resumption of service. OHSU and TriMet are providing shuttle service between the upper and lower tram stations. Hospital operations are normal.
