Portland/Multnomah Food Policy Council

There are no openings at the present time.

The FPC is a citizen advisory panel that reports to Portland City Council and the Multnomah County Board of Commissioners. The FPC conducts research on the implications of local government policy, programs, and operations related to the food system and its corresponding impacts on community health and well-being. The FPC provides education and advocates for all citizens’ access to nutritious, affordable, local and sustainably grown food.

The FPC has an Interest Form for Portland Multnomah Food Policy Council that will be used by both the City of Portland and Multnomah County to select members and make appointments to the FPC. You do not need to complete a separate form to be considered for appointment by the County. There are two versions of the form for your use. Click here for the web page with application forms for boards and commissions. Please note that there are two versions of the 2012 Portland Multnomah Food Policy Application for your use and select either the Word or PDF version for your use.

Please visit the FPC website for more information about the Council.

Meetings: 2nd Wednesday of month from 4-6 pm
