Mr. Clemenson has been involved with neighborhood issues in the Centennial neighborhood for over a decade. He has been part of the Centennial Community Association for ten years, and has been their co-chair for the past year.
Mr. Clemenson’s involvement in the community goes beyond his personal neighborhood boundaries and well into the entire community ofEast Portland. When he’s not talking with neighbors about safety concerns, you can find him at the East Precinct Block Captains meeting, the East Precinct Citizens Advisory Council, or the Partners for a Safe & Livable East Portland. He has a special interest in the justice system and its effect on the community, and is not shy about engaging people in discussions about this topic, including City and County official.
Mr. Clemenson is one of those select few people that everyone immediately goes to when you need a letter of support, a public safety forum organized, or a level and fair person for a committee or work group. The list of people wanting his assistance and advice is long. People inEast Portlandknow that they can always count on Mr. Clemenson. He has the exceptional ability to pen a letter or a petition, as well as present issues in person that get a response and results.
