SE 42nd and Powell Manhole Replacement Project: Construction is Complete

December 9, 2013

PROJECT INFORMATION

Environmental Services recently completed work on a project to replace a manhole and sewer pipe on SE 42nd Avenue between SE Powell Boulevard and Rhone Street. The 24-inch diameter pipe conveys sewage and stormwater when it rains. This project repaired broken pipe segments and reduces the potential of future pipe failure.

More information can be found at the project website: http://www.portlandoregon.gov/bes/article/457264

CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE

Major construction on this project is nearly complete. The contractor is finishing up several minor repairs and clean-up but SE 42nd Avenue has re-opened to all traffic and construction equipment has been moved off-site.

PROJECT SURVEY

Please take a moment and fill out the online project survey, here: www.portlandoregon.gov/bes/42ndsurvey.
