Portland Development Commission

The Portland Development Commission (PDC) is the City's economic development and community redevelopment agency.  PDC brings together community resources to achieve Portland's vision of a vital economy with healthy neighborhoods and quality jobs for all citizens. The PDC works closely with the Portland Housing Bureau in order to accomplish the city's goals of quality housing for all.  Positions on the five member volunteer Board of Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council for three year terms. Members meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 3 p.m. and the fourth Wednesday of the month at 8 a.m.  Members must be available for about 10 hours per week for meetings, public appearances, etc.
