Established by Portland City Code 3.98, the Towing board of Review oversees the performance of all parties contracting with the City for towing or dispatching service, and hears and investigates citizen complaints regarding the City's towing contracts. The Board consists of representatives from Portland Police, Portland Bureau of Transportation, the Port of Portland, Multnomah County and three citizen members having no connection to the towing industry. Members serve two-year terms. In addition, the towing industry elects two non-voting representatives who serve a one-year term.
Meets bi-monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of odd numbered months (January, March, May, etc.) at 1:30 pm at 111 SW Columbia St. 8th floor, Room B. Meetings usually last an hour to an hour-and-a-half. (Updated 6/09)
