Find out what is going on in your neighborhood and with the City of Portland's world renowned neighborhood system.  The Calendar of Events is where you will find information about upcoming neighborhood meetings, community events and volunteer opportunities.  Events are listed by district so you can look at all the events going on in the city or just for your part of town.

    SE 19th Avenue to be closed in stages for street improvements from SE Reedway to SE Clatsop streets July 10 through 12

    The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require rolling closures on SE 19th Avenue from SE Reedway to SE Clatsop streets for fog sealing from July 10 to 12, 7 a.m. to about 6 p.m. each day.

    Street rebuilding and paving to close lanes on SE 130th Avenue July 7 to Aug. 22

    The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require lane closures on SE 130th Avenue between SE Stark and SE Lincoln streets from Monday, July 7 through Friday, August 22, 2014.

    Summer paving in east Multnomah County

    Several roads maintained by Multnomah County will be repaved in July and August in a two-phase process. The first phase will repave all traffic lanes using an innovative method that recycles a road’s existing asphalt after it is combined with new bonding material. The second phase is scheduled a few weeks later and includes a final overlay to seal the asphalt and final lane striping.

    Street improvements to close lanes on N Willamette Boulevard from N Portsmouth Avenue to N Woolsey Avenue weekdays July 7 to July 18

    The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require lane closures of N Willamette Boulevard from N Portsmouth Avenue to N Woolsey Avenue for two weeks from Monday, July 7th through Friday, July 18th, 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. each weekday.

    Mayor Hales, Commissioner Novick, Director Treat announce goal surpassed to preserve 100 miles of Portland streets this fiscal year

    Mayor Charlie Hales, Commissioner Steve Novick and Leah Treat, the city’s transportation director, announced today that Portland Bureau of Transportation crews exceeded their goal of maintaining 100 lane miles of Portland streets during the fiscal year that ends today.
