    Crosswalk enforcement action slated for January 28 on SW Capital Highway at SW Miles

    The Portland Bureau of Transportation and Portland Police Bureau advise the traveling public that a crosswalk enforcement action is scheduled for Wednesday, January 28th to raise awareness of pedestrian safety and traffic law.

    Clinton Green Street and Sewer Construction Update: January 22, 2015

    As part of the Tabor to the River Program, Environmental Services continues construction on the Clinton Green Street and Sewer Project. This project will replace 3,800 feet of sewer pipe installed over 100 years ago, construct 24 green street planters and add two blocks of pervious paving. These improvements will protect public health, property and the environment, and reduce the possibility of sewage releases into streets, homes and businesses.

    Eastmoreland-Woodstock Sewer Repair Project Construction Update: January 22, 2015

    Construction continues on a project in your neighborhood to repair or replace about 40,000 feet of severely deteriorated sewer pipes that are more than 60 years old. The work will make the sewer system work more effectively and protect water quality, public health and the environment.

    CORRECTED-Traffic Advisory: Winter paving to close lanes on SE Morrison St from 12th to 20th avenues Jan 26-30

    This project will close lanes on SE Morrison Street from 12th to 20th avenues, not 30th Avenue. The original headline misstated the length of the project. We regret the error.

    Temporary Fanno Creek Trail Closure

    On Monday, February 9, Environmental Services will close a portion of the Fanno Creek Trail at SW 84th Avenue (see map below) for several days in order to locate and measure a section of the Fanno Pressure Sewer. The trail will close again later in the year at the same location to allow work crews to connect the pressure sewer to the new pump station.
