Spend a morning planting native plants in Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge
Event Types > Volunteer Opportunities/Fundraisers
Join Portland Parks & Recreation and the Friends of Oaks Bottom for a morning of planting native plants in Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge. Help improve wildlife habitat and water quality in the refuge while keeping Oaks Bottom healthy, beautiful and safe for everyone!
Tools, training, snacks, and gloves will be provided. Please dress for the weather, wear close-toed shoes (rubber boots are best!), and bring a water bottle. Bring a friend and be ready to get dirty!
This is a family friendly event and all ages are welcome to join in the fun (children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult).
Meet the group in the parking lot at SE Milwaukie and SE Mitchell.
