Due to limited staffing, processing of and responding to, new park proposals is on hold through October, 2013.

Last September, we instituted a 6-month HOLD on processing and responding to any new park proposals, as we were unable to keep up with the pace and give each proposal its proper review. During this period we worked on internal process improvements. However, due to the continued high number of planning projects and limited staff, we must extend the hold through October, 2013.

Between now and October 31, 2013, we will be accepting  Part I  proposals and logging them in for future processing. We will be responding to these proposals once we have staff capacity. We expect this to occur in November or December 2013, and we will update this web posting to keep you informed as conditions change.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and for your commitment to our Gold Medal park system. Community members like you have inspired some of our best park and recreation projects.
