PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Southwest Riverfront parks include Powers Marine, Willamette Moorage, Butterfly, and Miles Beach. They are located adjacent to the Willamette River from south of the Sellwood Bridge to the northern end of SW Miles Place. These parks provide riparian and stream habitats which are vital to health of the river. The rebuilding of the Sellwood Bridge, the proposed Lake Oswego-to-Portland trolley line, and the regional trail will impact these parks. This plan will be a guiding document for habitat enhancement, trails, and stewardship projects. The planning process includes a multi-jurisdictional technical advisory committee and public input through neighborhood and stewardship group meetings and online comments.
