Classes, Lessons and Instrument Rentals

CMC has classes for children from 6 months of age to seniors.  Activities include general music, strings (violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar) & string ensembles, piano, voice, choir and vocal ensembles, and Renaissance winds.  Most classes and lessons occur on site at CMC.

School Year

Most group classess run for three 10-week terms (late September - mid June); private lessons run 11 weeks per term.  Registrants are automatically re-enrolled in Winter & Spring.

Please Notify the office if you wish to withdraw before June.  Exceptions are Early Childhood & Senior Piano (participants re-enroll each term).  Listed price in the catalog is the fee for each term.

Tuition fees are due at the time of registration (at the time of confirmation for private lessons).  In Winter & Spring, tuition is due the first week of the term.

Instructor may require materials not included in the registration fee.

Daily practice is an important part of a successful music education.

See our Hours/Calendar page for a listing of the term schedule & break/holiday closures.

Many classes allow new registrants after fall term - contact CMC for more info.

Summer Term

June, July-August, and September sessions allow students to continue their studies through the summer or enter as a new student (we recommend starting beginning violin, viola or cello lessons in the school-year term, however).
