Nature Day  Camp             


Teens ages 13 - 15 volunteer to share their love of nature with children in our Parks. Visit the Nature Day Camp page.

No Ivy League


Help protect forests by removing invasive English ivy and replanting with natives. We can also schedule an event for your class, club or group to volunteer together. Contact the No Ivy League at 503-823-3681 or mary.verrilli@portlandoregon.gov  for more information.

Help out the Environmental Education team with random tasks around the office.  Shredding, sorting, cleaning and organizing our library are examples of activities that we can offer.  If you are skilled in PhotoShop or other digital media, please let us know!

Are you creative?  Every December, we decorate and sell wreaths as a fundraiser for our Nature Camp Scholarship Program.  So much fun...come join us!

Heartbleed Security Notice

A serious security vulnerability known as "Heartbleed" was recently discovered in OpenSSL, a popular software library commonly used by many websites on the internet to encrypt communication between a user's computer and a web server.

PortlandOregon.gov is NOT affected by this vulnerability as it does not use the OpenSSL software library. Please rest assured we are dedicated to protecting your security on this website.
