Director
Mike Stone - Mike was director of tennis at Salishan Lodge for 8 years and director of tennis at Kings Court Tennis Club in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Currently, Mike is ranked in the top 10 in both the USTA/Pacific Northwest region and in the National USTPA standings for his age division. He has served as a USTA umpire and referee and has coached numerous high school teams. He received his Senior Fitness Certifications from the Cooper Institute in Dallas, Texas and from American Senior Fitness Association. He served as the Northern Oregon region representative on the USPTA/PNW Board of Directors and received the 2005 USPTA/PNW awards for Facility Manager and Senior Player of the Year. In 2007 he was named USPTA/PNW Professional of the Year. He also served as President of the Greater Portland Tennis Council (GPTC) and coaches the LaSalle High School boys tennis team.
Teaching Professionals
Andre St James - Andre has been a PTR professional for 15 years. He was head coach for player development for Kids 'N' Tennis Junior Academy and also coached at Wilson High School in Portland and Thurston High School in Springfield. He has served as a verifier for the USTA and a national tester for the USPTR. In addition to his numerous tennis accomplishments, Andre is also a well-known musician in the Portland area.
Lisa Stoica - Lisa began taking free tennis lessons at St Johns Racquet Center when she was 8 years old. She played Division 1 for University of Portland, Portland State University, and Idaho State University. She graduated with a degree in pyschology. She is certified at the USPTA Pro 2 level and has coached tennis at Grant and Roosevelt High Schools.
"G" Gonzalo - "G" was born and raised in the Philippines. He has played in numerous singles and doubles tournaments and is certified at the Pro 2 level by USPTA. He also coached the Roosevelt High School boys tennis team.
Tino Fabros - Tino was born in the Phillipines and started playing tennis at age 10. He has taught at Vancouver Tennis Center and Lake Oswego Tennis Center and coached the De La Salle boys tennis team for 3 years. He is certified at the Pro 2 level by the USTPA.
Cory Grove - Cory was born in Seoul, South Korea. He played junior and high school tennis and was a 4-year member of the NAIA tennis team at Cedarville College, Ohio. He graduated with a BS in applied psychology. He is certified by the PTR.
David Blagden - David is a long-time teaching professional and club manager. He is certified at the USPTA Pro 1 level.
