swim facilities located throughout the city. 

Portland Parks Aquatics Department offers competitive wages, a positive working environment, flexible hours, opportunity for advancement and an employee recognition program.  With 6 indoor and 7 outdoor pools throughout the city, our staff has the opportunity to provide service to their community while earning wages ranging from $9.25 - $13.00 per hour.

Training courses for those interested in becoming a lifeguard and swim instructor are available through Portland Parks & Recreation.  Lifeguard and swim instructor training courses are offered during Spring Break (March 25-28).
