Join Phyllis Reynolds, author of Trees of Greater Portland, as she takes you on an incredible journey through the historic Laurelhurst Park.  If you haven't attended a walk with Phyllis, you should, she's awesome.  

Phyllis Reynolds is an indefatigable volunteer who knows every historical tree in the Portland area, Reynolds served on the Heritage Tree Committee beginning in 1993 and was its chairwoman from 2000 to 2006. She left the Heritage Tree Committee to compile more tree inventories for parks and neighborhoods. Since the 1990s, her inventories have included ones for Oregon Health & Science University, Reed College, Laurelhurst Park and several Portland neighborhoods. Reynolds was awarded the Mayor's Award for Tree Stewardship in 1999.

Phyllis also just published a new addition of Trees of Greater Portland.  We will have a book signing on Wednesday, April 24th at the World Forestry Center.

The walk will begin at the restrooms at the north end of the Park, adjacent to Ankeny St.
