Take a tour and see some of Portland's beautiful heritage trees with City Heritage Tree Inspector Lou Phemister. 

This walk will last around two hours and will take you to view some large trees and unusual tree species in the NW neighborhood. The focus of the walk will be the trees in Couch Park. The walk there and back will look at some Portland Heritage Trees and other large street and private trees while describing the problems of maintaining large trees in an urban environment.

Meet at the new Kells Brewpub 210 NW 21^st Ave (NW 21^st & Everett).

Feel free to arrive early, grab a bite to eat if you'd like, and chat with Lou and other tree enthusiasts before starting the walk at 1:00pm.  Lou will be there at 12:30!
