Join Portland Parks & Recreation and the Columbia Slough Watershed Council for a morning of planting native plants, removing invasive weeds, and spreading mulch to help beautify Peninsula Crossing Trail near Columbia Boulevard. Our activities for the day will help make the trailside more valuable for local wildlife and will also add colorful native flowers to the trail for people to enjoy as the walk, bike and jog down the trail.
Gloves, tools, snacks and training will be provided. All ages welcome; children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Please come dressed for the weather, wear close-toed shoes, bring a water bottle and be ready to get dirty!
