Event: Truth Be Told: A Night of Storytelling in the Village
This curated storytelling event is inspired by the popular radio show “The Moth”. Truth Be Told is an event created by the Literary Arts Program at MAC, which supports fine storytelling in all its permutations.
Gather on the East Terrace to enjoy cocktails or wine and hors d’oeuvres from Cheryl’s on 12th. Then step inside for the evening program. Afterward there will be plenty of time to relax on the terrace or go for an optional guided stroll in the Garden.

Kenneth Helphand, U of O Professor Emeritus, explores the origins of the craft of gardening. Discover why gardens look the way they do. Through incredible global imagery, including the great gardens of the world, learn about the complex and intertwined historical relationship between gardens and agriculture.
