Hi everyone and Happy Friday! I hope you all have been staying warm and active this chilly fall season. With dropping temperatures and evenings coming earlier, wanting to leave the house becomes a huge effort. These obstacles, along with many others, require strong internal motivation and self-pep talks to get over and power through. I like to remind my clients and myself of how good we feel after a workout. It only takes about 30-60 minutes to accomplish a complete workout and once you’ve started sweating you remember why you’ve left the house and gotten to SWCC multiple times during the week.
With the ever busy holiday season approaching fast, relieving stress and taking of yourself is crucial. Also, it has been proven that regular exercise keeps your immune system strong, keeping illness at bay. We can all use a strong immune system during the cold and flu season! With all the positive reasons to be exercising, finding a hour a day to take care of yourself shouldn’t be too hard.
This time of year, fitness classes and personal training sessions can be a life saver. All you have to do is show up and our fabulous instructors do the rest. A fitness friend expecting to see you in class, or an appointment with your trainer always help to keep you accountable.
