CRYSTAL SPRINGS RHODODENDRON GARDEN
The 2013 volunteer season is beginning…Meet at the Coolhouse every Wednesday, from 9:00 am to noon, until November. Bring a sandwich and join other volunteers for lunch afterwards.

International Rose Test Garden at Washington Park

- Garden Preparation
Join PP&R's rose curator in performing tasks to bring the garden to "show quality" appearance. Every Tuesday any time between 9:00 AM-noon. Meet at the Information Kiosk.
- Deadheading Roses
Mid-May through September. Volunteers are needed any time Tue-Fri between 7:00 AM-2:00 PM, and Monday evenings between 6:00-8:00 PM.
- Garden Tours
Volunteers conduct 45-minute guided tours of the garden daily at 1:00 PM beginning May 29. Meet at the Rose Garden Store.
Peninsula Park Rose Garden
Interested in attending a free rose class? Learn about rose care on Sunday, June 23, at Peninsula Park Community Center.

Arbor Lodge Park
Quarterly work parties, dates and times TBD. Join neighbors to weed and maintain the park without chemicals! Meet at the west ballfield between N. Dekum & Bryant. For more info, email Ginger.
Cathedral Park - Clean up along the Riverbank
Join Portland Organic Productions in making a positive difference for the environment and the community by picking up litter, removing invasive plants and covering up graffiti in beautiful Cathedral Park. Please meet under the St. Johns Bridge at the amphitheater off N. Edison and N. Pittsburgh. Join in this community-building effort and bring a water bottle, friends and family, and a desire to make a positive change. Please wear slip- and water-resistant close-toed shoes as well as durable clothes. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. For 2013: Sunday, March 24; Sunday, April 21; Sunday, June 23; Saturday, July 13; Friday – Sunday, July 19 – 21 (in conjunction with Cathedral Park Jazz Festival.
