Description

The Portland Bureau of Emergency Management (PBEM) is developing a new evacuation plan for the city. PBEM has identified five areas that face unique challenges to evacuation related to topography and limited transportation routes: Hayden Island, Linnton, Forest Park, the Multnomah County Drainage District and the Downtown Central Business District. We're asking residents of these five areas to share their ideas on potential methods of evacuation during upcoming neighborhood meetings. Each meeting will be focused on the neighborhood in which it is held.

 

Linnton residents and business operators are encouraged to join a discussion and short workshop during the Linnton Neighborhood Association meeting, 7 p.m., July 2 at the Linnton Community Center, 10614 NW St Helens Road.
