Portland NET Basic Training - Click here to register
This class will cover all basic curriculum to become certified as an active member of Portland's Neighborhood Emergency Team Program (NET).
The curriculum is primarily classroom based, with a Final Field Exercise (FFE) as the last part which will test the skills you have learned in class.
You will receive an email a week or so before the first class with details on what to expect in class, how to prepare, and what equipment you will need. The purpose of this invite is ONLY to reserve you a seat in the class.
NOTE: Basic NET training is for persons who are joining their local NET after they have completed training. If you do not intend to join your local NET, PBEM has other training available for you.
The class meets three times: September 20, 27, and October 4. Each day runs from 9am to 5pm.
The first two class sessions will take place at the Linnton Community Center at 10614 NW St Helens Rd. The final class will take place at Portland Fire Training, 4800 NE 122nd in Portland.
You must have completed the Basic Online Training and a background check before the first day of class. If you have questions about this, please contact the NET Coordinator (see below).
