You are invited to join Multnomah County Emergency Management and the US Army Corps of Engineers for an informative session on flood fight technology including hands-on training on sandbag station set-up and management. The workshop is set up in two sessions and you are welcome to attend either or both.

Though the focus of this workshop is on business and public agencies who may need to respond in a flood emergency, the general public, volunteers and volunteer agencies are welcome to attend.

The first session will be hands-on training on sandbagging techniques and sandbag station set-up and management. The second session will be a workshop on flood fight technology and planning.

If you are attending the morning session, please dress for possible cold and wet weather, and wear appropriate clothing if you wish to participate in the hands-on training.
