Banfield to provide preventive health clinic for more than 100 companion animals
This Wednesday, October 22, participants of Central City Concern and Transition Projects will be able to receive wellness check-ups, vaccinations, flea, tick, and de-worming treatments, and more for their companion animals, pets, and service animals between 9am and 3pm at Transitions Projects in Portland.

Portland – The Portland Housing Bureau is pleased to announce the awardees of City funds to develop affordable rental housing.
In May 2014, the Portland Housing Bureau (PHB) issued the 2014 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) On June 23, 2014, PHB received 14 proposals requesting $42.8 million in financial assistance. PHB Director Traci Manning expressed: "It was a challenging process. We received excellent proposals to provide quality affordable housing at a time when rents in Portland are increasing rapidly. Unfortunately with limited resources we were forced to select only a few."
Clackamas County seeks an experienced Human Services Manager to manage the Volunteer Connection program within the Social Services Division of the Health, Housing and Human Services Department.
Volunteer Connection is the focal point for volunteer involvement within Clackamas County, working with over 200 partner organizations to enhance the quality of life in our community. This position is responsible for planning and coordinating a range of diverse services for a broadly defined population, developing and implementing long range plans, and supervising program activities through subordinate staff.
The most qualified candidates will demonstrate prior experience managing social services programs that rely on volunteers as well as fostering effective relationships with partner agencies.
