Meet The Team!

Nicholas Clark

It is so rewarding to introduce boys to new ways of thinking about gender and social justice which I didn't have the opportunity to learn about until I was in college.  When I'm not volunteering with Boystrength, I spend my time drawing and collaging, learning to play guitar, teaching at a preschool, and researching and considering a future career in family therapy, school counseling, or something else in that realm of social service.

Brandan Sayarath

My name is Brandan and I was born and raised in Portland.  I go to school at Portland State University.  I want to get into law enforcement soon, and have been interning with the Portland Police Bureau at their Family Services Division.  I volunteer for BoyStrength because I want to make a difference from the inside-out.  I take pride in knowing that the work I put in, directly improves the lives of others.

BoyStrength is honored to have Kevin Cherry, A native of Philadelphia. Kevin moved to Portland in 2011 to be closer to family. He enjoys community outreach, spending time with family and singing! Not only is Kevin a BoyStrength instructor with the PPB, but also a volunteer Chaplain at Inverness Jail, and the Justice Center.
