Information for Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Agencies

 
If you are with a criminal justice or law enforcement agency, please include as much information as possible in your request, i.e. case number, state ID number, FBI number, name and DOB, incident date, etc. Also include your contact information so that we may contact you if the need arises.

Information for Attorneys, Private Investigators, and Other Private Agencies

 

To request photographs, audio, and video evidence please use the Portland Public Records Request Center.

If you are an attorney representing a client in a pending criminal case, please obtain a DA174 Form from the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.  Please attach this form with your request online.

A DA174 Form will be required in civil matters if the items requested are associated with a pending or active criminal case.

Information for Private Citizens

 

Oregon State Law prohibits disclosure of information deemed confidential or sensitive or as exempted from public disclosure. Examples of confidential, sensitive, or exempted information include (but are not limited to):

  • Elder Abuse            
  • Child Abuse   
  • Juvenile Records      
  • Physical and mental health information
  • Information related to an ongoing investigation
  • Certain personal information
