Looking for a  volunteer opportunity that can help change lives?

The Strength Programs provide volunteers with  hands on learning and real-life work experience overseeing city-wide programs. Volunteers assist  with the administration and operations of programs, camps, workshops, new volunteer training and other events. We provide candidates with work experience opportunities, internships, capstone projects and in the past have partnered with numerous organizations such as WorkSource, Portland Community College and Portland State University. Learn more about becoming a volunteer instructor for our violence prevention\self-defense  programs!

Assist with the Operations of  WomenStrength or GirlStrength

We are looking for volunteers to help with the operations of our programs. You choose your hours and projects!. In the past,we  have partnered with WorkSource, Portland Community College, the Latino Network and Portland State University. Download an application! 

Curriclum Development, Research, and Grant Writing

Are you a writer and do you want to use or develop your skills to help reduce violence  in our communities? We need volunteers who like to work in a team and can assist with grant writing and research.
