WENDY LIM

At approximately 3:30 am on May 28, 1997, Wendy Kay Lim, a 34-year-old white female, was riding in the front passenger seat of an associate’s car near the intersection of N. Webster and N. Albina St. A white car with two African-American male occupants approached their vehicle where Ms. Lim and her friend had stopped on the street to talk to a friend named “Bobby.” The passenger of the white car shot into the car multiple times, fatally wounding Wendy Lim and wounding her associate. Ms. Lim was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

Ms. Lim was reported to be a known drug user and possible prostitute. Witnesses state that 15 minutes prior to the shooting, Ms. Lim had an argument regarding payment for drugs.

Investigators are interested in speaking with Bobby as a witness to this homicide.

If you have any information regarding the shooting of Wendy Lim, please contact CrimeStoppers at 503-823-HELP.
