UPDATE - FOUND SAFE: Public's Help Sought to Locate a Missing 50-Year-Old Woman (Photo)

50-year-old Nilda Valdes-Ramirez contacted Portland Police officers at Central Precinct late this afternoon and is no longer considered a missing person.

The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help to locate a missing 50-year-old Southwest Portland woman.

50-year-old Nilda Valdes-Ramirez is described as a female Hispanic, 5'6" tall, 160 pounds, black hair with some gray, and brown eyes. She does not speak English.

Valdes-Ramirez was last heard from on Tuesday September 27, 2016, at approximately 7:00 p.m. and reported missing today after friends visited her apartment in Downtown Portland and learned she was not home.
