Update:

Officers responded and were directed to a bullet hole in the ceiling of a bottom floor apartment at this location. Office established a perimeter and attempted to loud hail the apartment associated with the gunfire.

The officers received no response. They were able to make entry and determine that no one inside the apartment was injured. They did locate Catrina Cardenas, a 22-year-old female, who was arrested on outstanding felony warrants.

No one was injured during the incident. This investigation is ongoing.

Original Message:

On March 11th, 2010 at approximately 12:00 P.M., Portland Police Officers were summoned to the 2600 block of S.E. 174th Avenue on reports of a shot fired through a wall. Officers are arriving and attempting to safely resolve the incident. It is unknown if anyone is injured at this time.

Media are advised that the staging area will be the parking lot at S.E. Division Street and S.E. 174th Avenue. The PIO will be responding as well.
